In 1995, we started Webshots as a retail photo screensaver company, empowering computer owners to customize their blank desktops with colorful photo wallpapers and screensavers. Within a few years, Webshots had become the largest public photo sharing site, with over a million photos uploaded per day at its peak. As photo sharing has evolved over the years, Webshots has evolved as well. Many of us have hundreds, if not thousands, of photos stored in multiple places and on multiple devices.
