Product Manager (London, UK, Europe)

Responsibilities:

- Overseeing the strategic development of a community platform serving multiple audiences.

- Specifying market requirements for current and future products by conducting online and offline, primary and secondary market research, supported by on-going visits to TechHub physical sites.

- Assessing and developing revenue streams and product propositions, and analysing the potential for greater partner and investor relationships.

- Translating the business objectives into technical objectives to define the scope of the project.

- Managing the implementation of technology products with an agile product lifecycle, through project planning, implementation and feedback.

- In budgetary control of the product and projects.

- Managing developer team that currently comprises of one full-time developer with freelancers and consultants pulled in as necessary.

- Occasionally travelling to international sites and conferences.

Qualifications & Skills:

- Delivering technology products, on time and on-budget.

- Creating product and feature propositions, backed up by strong needs and market analysis.

- Dealing with high-level strategy and details and translating these into technical requirements.

- Project management - you’re great at staying on top of what’s needed, managing requirements, resources and deadlines and executing projects where you need to get your hands dirty with some of the deliverables.

- Management and recruitment - you will manage our existing developer team and make new hires as necessary. Community sites, platforms and products - with an eye to mobile, even better!

- Budgetary management - you know how to do more with less.

- Using analytics, usability testing, multivariate testing to inform the development process.

- Using CMS or CRM platforms.

- Agile development workflow (XP, scrum or kanban) is preferred.

- Business writing and general communication skills - this is essential.

- Writing public-facing copy (such as blog posts) - desirable, but not essential.
