Visual Meta GmbH was founded in January 2009 and operates shopping portals in Germany and several other European countries. The portals are a sort of shopping centre that offer you “all shops on one site”. The shopping portals focus mainly on the categories shoes, fashion, bags, jewelry and furniture. The products presented on the portals are not from the Visual Meta GmbH itself, but are provided by the many hundred partner shops. Some of those are large mail order companies such as Otto, Amazon or Zalando, but there are also smaller, specialized shops. Numerous filters and visual search options help you find what you are looking for. Behind Visual Meta stands a very young and international team of about 100 employees.

Responsibilities:

- You create for LadenZeile.de concepts and screen designs for new features and site areas.

- You oversee the implementation of new features, from the preparation of the technical requirements through working closely with the developers to the releases on our international websites.

- You test and Optimise processes in our back office, in coordination with internal users.

- You evaluate in the context of site analysis and KPI data from usability testing.

- You coordinate and priorisierst features in our tracking system.

Qualifications & Skills:

- University degree or completed training.

- Initial experience in the online sector, for example through design, project management and / or web design.

- You are trained to use graphics software, especially Photoshop.

- Knowledge of Flash, Illustrator, and HTML / CSS would be a plus.

- You draw your way through technical understanding, structured approach and high level of creativity from.

- You can formulate good writing and are confident in the German Spelling.

- You speak English.
