Director of Product Management (San Francisco, CA, USA, North America)

Responsibilities:

- Drive the product roadmap for both the finance and operations platforms.

- Define and lead integration with printing and shipping partners as well as payment processors.

- Develop product specifications and documentation for proprietary tools and interfaces, including, but not limited to: order routing functionality, royalty platform, shipping platform, tax calculation, pricing, and discounting tools and functionality.

- Lead revenue recognition and margin analyses in order to drive margin optimization.

- Define product strategy and direction within the context of the overall company strategy.

- Identify product needs based on analytics, financial and operational targets and metrics, and competitive analysis.

- Lead the implementation of the product roadmap through close partnership with the engineering and operations teams.

- Define, monitor and report progress against key success metrics.

Qualifications & Skills:

- 5+ years of product management experience and/or product development experience with a solid track record of developing and launching successful products.

- Deep experience with payments, web service and API integrations, and operations.

- Professional experience with revenue recognition practices and margin optimization.

- Professional experience with subscriptions and recurring payments optional, but a big plus.

- Strong understanding of technology – development experience or degree in CS a plus.

- Excellent written and oral communication skills.

- Excellent organizational and analytical skills.

- Extreme detail and process orientation.

- Experience with agile or scrum methodologies a plus.

- Ability to thrive in a fun, fast-paced environment with schedules measured in days rather than weeks.
