Product Manager- Search Buyer Experience Team (San Jose, CA, USA, North America)

Responsibilities:

- Work with the larger cross-functional team to define the team's business strategy, product strategy, operation plan and detailed roadmap.

- Synthesize customer needs from customers (3rd party external and internal), market research, customer visits, usage & analytics, competitive insights.

- Prioritize and make tradeoff decisions based on the needs of the business.

- Communicate effectively and consistently with customers, partners, business and technical teams.

- Deliver business and product requirements documents, feature prioritization and business justification.

- Work hands-on with development, QA, designers, business and operations teams to successfully design, build, and deploy API's and architectures to support customer needs.

- Analyze, manage, iterate and track the continued success of features in production.

Qualifications & Skills:

- 5+ Years of product management experience, with a solid track record of developing and launching successful products.

- Ideally, 2+ years of experience in consumer facing e-commerce with background in specific e-commerce sites, APIs, or search a plus.

- Prior experience developing/managing web-based products.

- Proven ability to successfully manage multiple projects from concept to delivery while meeting schedule timeframes.

- Familiarity with the unique dynamics of the eBay marketplace -- buying/selling experience on eBay a plus.

- Business acumen and ability to link business, competitive, and user needs into a strong product plan.

- CS/BA/BS required, undergraduate degree in technology (CS/EE) preferred.
