Associate Product Manager (Peachtree City, GA, USA, North America)

Responsibilities:

- Supports the product managers by implementing strategic product and business plans targeting markets, industries and customers.

- Works with product managers to improve profit and return on investment of product lines. Undertakes and leads cost reduction, capacity planning and quality improvement projects within established guidelines.

- Reviews and approves special pricing requests, maintains price list and develops pricing strategies for new and existing products under the direction of a product manager.

- With assistance from product manager, manages new development activity.

- Develops product promotion and commercialization plans including sales tools, literature, distribution, stocking, training and sampling.

- Analyzes information to support product management in development of S&OP product forecast for new and existing product.

- Works collaboratively with cross-functional teams to reduce finished goods inventory and E&O.


Qualifications & Skills:

- Bachelors degree in Marketing or Engineering.

- Ability to analyze the industry, integrate disparate information into a coherent story and actionable strategy.

- Ability to lead and influence multifunctional team without direct reporting relationship.

- Strong drive for results.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Ability to do financial analyses.

- Strong desire to win, highly motivated, detail oriented, and team player.
